LINEAPELLE in Italy
After the success obtained in its return to the live format, in its last edition in September 2021, LINEAPELLE is preparing its next event at the Milano Rho fairgrounds, for February 22nd, 23rd and 24th, 2022.
On this occasion, its date will also coincide with MICAM of footwear, MIPEL of leather goods and other fashion exhibitions, in the same place, which will ensure a greater flow of visitors.
As is traditional, producers of hides and skins, synthetics and textiles, components and accessories, from different regions of the world, will participate as exhibitors, although the majority are of Italian origin.
The value of this fair, recognized for its voluminous offer of hides and skins, is its aesthetic content that serves as a benchmark for upcoming fashion trends.
For this reason, industrialists, businessmen and professionals from the sector come from different origins in search of novelties to plan new collections of footwear and manufactures.
The fair will be the culmination of an intense program, a true "roadshow", carried out by UNIC -Union of Italian Tanners- with the support of the government of its country, for the visibility of Italian production in the international market. Thus, presentations were organized in New York and Los Angeles, in the United States; and in Paris, France.
In all cases, the new UNIC project, "A New Point of Materials", was presented, a critical and innovative space for information, research, studies and debates oriented to the new processes of manufacturing leather and fur, where sustainability is the axis of the proposal.
PREMIÈRE VISION in France
The French supply fair will be held at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center in live format, on Tuesday 8th, Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th February 2022. For its part, between 7th and 11th of that month, the digital proposal will remain active.
The fairgrounds in Paris will be structured in nine segments, which will include the exhibition of hides and skins, fabrics, yarns and accessories, designs, as well as other spaces. The exhibition aims to provide an exhibition offering that allows the creation of collections related to footwear, clothing, costume jewelry and leather goods.
For its part, the fair organization is part of the generation of advance knowledge about fashion, related to trends in materials and colors, among others, which will later be revealed in the physical and virtual editions of the event through forums and seminars.
Plans for 2022
The second version of the year of PREMIÈRE VISION PARIS, which would take place in September, was rescheduled for July. In this regard, the organizers announced that it will be held between Tuesday 5th, Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th, according to the fair's website.
The purpose of the change of dates is to follow the supply requirements and the time needed to deliver orders, within the framework of the creation of the corresponding collections.
