With more visitors and exhibitors, the Paris fair disseminated Spring-Summer fashion content

It was an important source of inspiration for the planning of the next collections of footwear and manufactures.

A space dedicated to creativity and innovation for professionals in the fashion industry.

The face-to-face edition of PREMIÈRE VISION of suppliers took place at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center, between February 8th and 10th.

For three days, the Leather, Textile, Yarns, Accessories, Manufacturing and Design sectors presented the proposals for the Spring/Summer 2023 season. In this sense, 1,080 exhibitors were part of the exhibition, not only in the face-to-face format, but also in PREMIÈRE VISION MARKETPLACE -digital-, representing 41 countries.

For their part, 21,300 visitors were present in Paris, with the United States and Turkey being two countries that returned to the fair. In turn, Spanish, Italian and British registered an increase with respect to Europe; while countries in the Asian region -Japan, Korea and China- had limitations on their travel.

Thus, the physical edition grew by 24% in attendance compared to September 2021. At the same time, 57% of foreign visitors within the total meant an increase compared to 53% in the last version.

The restrictions due to the pandemic were the framework for a greater participation in the virtual proposal developed between February 7th and 11th, with 63% of visitors from abroad.

The hybrid initiative, which seeks to adapt to the needs of the market, thus achieved a positive result, concluding with an 18% increase over the total attendance (+74,600 people), compared to September last year.

In this regard, the general manager of PREMIÈRE VISION -Gilles Lasbordes- stated: “Première Vision Paris wraps up an encouraging edition in terms of the sector’s outlook for recovery. The show confirmed the important role played by events of its kind in supporting the business of industry professionals: Première Vision not only successfully maintained its flagship event despite a still uncertain context, but also offered a model to unite the sector and facilitate the contacts that are so indispensable to the industry’s business recovery.”

Greater offer of knowledge

The organization also provided various information spaces in both formats, such as the 3D forum, other inspiration spaces and Live Sourcing. In addition, Digital Talks and fashion seminars were held, within the 20 new conferences of this edition, according to its organizers.

Next edition with positive projections

PREMIÈRE VISION PARIS will be held between Tuesday 5th, Wednesday 6th and Friday 7th July 2022, at the Paris Nord Villepinte fairgrounds; while the Digital Week will take place between July 4th and 8th.

The promoters of the exhibition expect the participation of important markets such as the United States and Asia, in view of the satisfactory edition of last February.

To this will be added the novelty of the return of Maison d'Exceptions, dedicated to the luxury sector at an international level, while maintaining the focus on sustainability, both in the exhibition offer and in the different spaces.
