PREMIÈRE VISION and LINEAPELLE: European references for fashion

Both the Paris and Milan fairs are major sources of inspiration for brands and manufacturers.

PREMIÈRE VISION PARIS. An event aimed at fashion creators, with valuable aesthetic content.

PREMIÈRE VISION PARIS - FRANCE

The second edition of the year of the French fair for suppliers of synthetic materials and textile, hides and skins, and components and accessories for the fashion industry will be held on Tuesday 2nd, Wednesday 3rd, and Thursday 4th, July, at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center. On this occasion, proposals for the Fall/Winter 2025-2026 season will be presented, according to the organizers.

In this regard, PREMIÈRE VISION General Manager Gilles Lasbordes stated: "The July edition looks promising, reinforced by positive indicators that guarantee the arrival of brands in Paris."

The next edition will be held in a particular context, as the Olympic Games are scheduled for three weeks after the fair. However, Lasbordes assured that flights and hotels will offer their usual rates.

Preparations for July are focused on restructuring two programs launched this year: Matchmaking, meetings between brands and exhibitors, and Hosted Guest, inviting international figures to strengthen ties.

Looking ahead, PREMIÈRE VISION PARIS has already confirmed its dates for 2025: January 28th to 30th and July 1st to 3rd.

Data from the last February edition

The exhibition featured the participation of 1,180 exhibitors from around the world. The high quality of the attendance also stood out, reaching 30,340 visitors from 125 countries.

Meanwhile, the future of hides and skins was included in the 360° Leather – From Farm to Tech initiative, addressing the adaptation that the industry must make in the face of climate change and the adoption of new technologies.

LINEAPELLE - ITALY

The 104th edition of the Italian supplier fair will take place between September 17th and 19th, 2024, partially coinciding with other fashion exhibitions in the same location, which will exhibit finished products such as footwear (MICAM), leather goods (MIPEL), clothing (THE ONE MILANO), and accessories and jewelry (MILANO FASHION AND JEWELS).

In the six pavilions of the Fieramilano Rho exhibition center, proposals for Winter 2025-2026 will be presented in hides and skins, synthetics, textiles, components, and accessories for sectors such as footwear, clothing, leather goods, and upholstery (automotive and furniture).

As a complement, the Trend Areas will be spaces to see and learn about the most outstanding samples from the exhibitors, while the theme of fashion and trends will also be addressed through various conferences.

Summary of the previous edition in February

Held between February 20th and 22nd, the 103rd edition of LINEAPELLE was classified as vital by its organizers. The available space at the Fieramilano Rho events center exceeded 44,000 square meters, where 1,167 exhibitors from 43 countries were hosted. On this occasion, proposals for Spring/Summer 2025 in the supply sector for the fashion industry were presented.

As for the attendance, 25,376 operators participated, 39% of whom represented countries such as Spain, France, Great Britain, Germany, Türkiye, China, and the United States.

Various international delegations also took part, thanks to the promotion of the ITA-ICE Agency, which promotes Italy's foreign trade. "I cannot fail to highlight how this edition is inscribed in a context of concern for the generalized geopolitical tension that affects and conditions the trend of luxury consumption," said Gianni Russo, president of LINEAPELLE, referring to the global situation.
