SAPICA: A varied and attractive offer for national and international buyers
"We are the largest exhibition of footwear and leather goods in Latin America", this is how the fair is presented, which will take place between Tuesday 7th, Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th March 2023, at the Poliforum León exhibition center in Guanajuato.
The Chamber of the Footwear Industry of the State of Guanajuato (CICEG) -organizers of the exhibition-, informs that the participation in SAPICA allows contact with more than 1,800 national industries, generating a synergy that in its last editions has left business for more US$ 600 million average per fair. Almost 2,000 national and foreign commercial operators make their purchases at SAPICA.
“Today we participate in a different scenario. A world where there are no barriers between the physical and the digital, where the way of creating trends evolves by leaps and bounds, transforming users into consumers in need of new proposals, euphoric to live and open to new ideas”, underlines the manifesto of the mexican fair.
The event demonstrates its convening power with the presence of a significant number of footwear, leather goods and accessories producers from all over the country, exhibiting footwear for men, women and children, in a variety of styles. Sports, dress, casual, comfort, western, security, healthcare and gala, are some of the proposed lines.
SAPICA also stands out for its international profile, which is promoted by SHOES FROM MEXICO. The joint project of CICEG and COFOCE -Coordinator for the Promotion of Foreign Trade of the State of Guanajuato-, seeks the promotion of exports for the national footwear and leather goods sectors.
In this sense, throughout the fair, international buyers can access the Directory of Exporting Companies, to find the suppliers according to their demands, in addition to having a translation service, among other benefits.
The Mexican exhibition complements its exhibition activity with different parallel proposals, such as the Developing Companies sector, spaces for materials trends, area for entrepreneurs, etc.
For example, the Knowledge Pavilion has become relevant after its latest editions. There, specialized experts and professionals give conferences and talks in relation to the situation of the industry, processes applied in companies or success stories, within a varied program of interest to the sector.
