In a particular moment, where the Mexican footwear industry increases its presence in the regional and international market, favored by a favorable global situation, from March 8th to 10th, it will be held in person, at the Poliforum de León, Guanajuato, the most important footwear and manufactures exhibition in the country.
On this occasion, the main factories and companies, with more than 500 national brands, will occupy more than 1,500 stands, in an area of 42 thousand m2, where they will exhibit the new seasonal collections for women, men and children, in all their lines: formal shoes, casual, sport, sports, dress and cowboy boots, among others. To this offer, the special sectors of orthopedic footwear, for diabetics, leisure and safety shoes will be added; as well as for golf and cycling.
Leather goods and clothing will be another attraction at SAPICA, where handbags, bags, briefcases, belts, backpacks and accessories will be exhibited, along with jackets, pants, vests and skirts. All, made with calfskin, goatskin, pigskin and exotic skins, as well as synthetics and textiles.
The arrival of buyers from all over the country and from abroad is expected, especially from the United States, Central America and the Caribbean, where Mexican products have a growing presence, given their competitiveness, and Mexico's geographical-strategic position, which favors a normal, faster and more effective supply to different destinations.
Beyond the exhibition activity, the three days of the fair will turn SAPICA into a forum for meetings between industrialists and commercial operators, which will generate a significant volume of business, and will allow them to access a vast program of conferences that promote greater knowledge of the sector. Simultaneously, fashion shows and catwalks will be held, where renowned designers and brands will show their new proposals for the coming seasons, being a valuable reference for updating and deciding on future purchases.
For greater safety and peace of mind for all SAPICA participants -exhibitors and visitors- the organization of the fair, together with health authorities, have developed a strict protocol that will be followed at the event, with the supervision of trained personnel.
For visitors to SAPICA, coming from other states and abroad, there will be a very good complement to their commercial activity, which will be the tourist and service offer offered by the city of León and its state of Guanajuato, one of the richest in history and culture. Temples, museums, parks, shopping malls and gastronomic circuits, plus high-level hotels, will be available to its guests to satisfy the most diverse requirements for an unforgettable stay.
SAPICA is organized by the CICEG, Chamber of the Footwear Industry of Guanajuato, and has the support of the Government of the State of Guanajuato and the León City Council. The event is part of SHOES FROM MÉXICO, the program of the Mexican footwear and leather goods industry for the promotion and development of its exports. This initiative is promoted by CICEG and the Coordinator of Promotion of Foreign Trade of the State of Guanajuato (COFOCE).
