SAPICA: Traditional meeting with the Mexican proposal
The upcoming 91st edition will take place on Tuesday, August 13th, Wednesday, August 14th, and Thursday, August 15th, 2024, at the Poliforum in León, Guanajuato. Historically, the event averages 500 exhibitors from various industrial hubs in Mexico, with factories in Guanajuato being particularly prominent. In total, more than 2,000 brands of footwear and leather goods are showcased.
The attendance comprises nearly 10,000 national and international visitors, representing 2,200 companies.
2024 will be a significant year for the Mexican fair as it marks its 50th anniversary. As it was in the past March edition, it will also be celebrated in the upcoming August 2024 edition.
In the most recent March edition, the event saw the participation of buyers from various parts of the country, along with 139 international operators, marking a 34% increase from the previous edition. Most international attendees were from the United States.
Besides commercial activities, SAPICA transforms into a knowledge forum during its duration, featuring professionals, industrialists, and entrepreneurs who participate in various programs of interest, including conferences and presentations on current topics relevant to the sector's evolution.
Sustainability, technology, new business strategies and training are some of them.
Simultaneously, the fair hosts a series of significant fashion shows and runways by prominent designers and brands, showcasing future trends. These events provide valuable aesthetic content and concepts for visitors, serving as references for planning their purchases.
