SHOES DÜSSELDORF: Despite forecasts, good results
The March edition of the German footwear fair was held at the Areal Böhler exhibition center in Düsseldorf, showcasing trends for the Autumn/Winter 2024-2025 season.
The three days of the exhibition were summarized by Ulrike Kähler, General Manager of Igedo Exhibitions: “We used the event days intensively to generate good spirits and encourage contacts between exhibiting companies and trade visitors. Despite all the prophecies of doom, contrary opinions, doubts, and pessimistic voices prior to the event, the work was productive and the relationships between participants were intense.”
SHOES DÜSSELDORF saw attendance from local visitors as well as from various parts of the world. This is the case of America, which was represented by countries such as Brazil, Mexico, the United States and Canada.
The organization also highlighted the presence of retail traders from Nordic markets.
For this year, the edition showcasing proposals for Spring/Summer 2025 will take place from Sunday, September 1st to Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024, with brands already expressing their desire to participate again.
Given this promising outlook, Igedo Exhibitions has also confirmed the dates for 2025: from February 23rd to 25th and from August 24th to 26th.
