SHOES DÜSSELDORF: Kicked off the Autumn/Winter buying season
SHOES DÜSSELDORF, the German footwear trade fair, took place from February 2 to 4, 2025, at the Areal Böhler venue. The event marked the beginning of the footwear buying and selling season for Autumn/Winter 2025-2026, responding to industry and retail sector demands for an earlier schedule to facilitate an advanced exchange of trends, according to Ulrike Kähler, Managing Director of Igedo Exhibitions.
The fair showcased a segmented selection of collections, including Contemporary, Premium, Sustainability, Modern Comfort, and Kids, along with accessories for women, men, and children, focusing on medium-high value brands for the European market.
In addition to footwear exhibitions, the event featured trend talks and conferences, enriching the experience for attendees.
Sustainability was a key topic, highlighting initiatives promoting a fairer and more responsible industry.
