SHOES & LEATHER - GUANGZHOU. To understand China's evolution in the global market
The 32nd edition of the Asian fair will be held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, occupying Halls 1.1, 2.1, and 3.1 of Area A.
This year, participation is expected to exceed 800 exhibitors and attendance is projected to surpass 20,000 people, according to the organizers -The Association of Guangdong Shoes Manufacturers and Top Repute Co. Ltd.-.
SHOES AND LEATHER - GUANGZHOU will showcase a wide range of products, including machinery and equipment; hides and skins; synthetic materials and fabrics; components; accessories; supplies, and finished products, among others.
The proposals are aimed at sector operators such as representatives from tanneries, footwear factories, and renowned brands; wholesalers; original design manufacturers (ODM) and original equipment manufacturers (OEM); traders; distributors, and associations.
The leather and footwear sector will have the opportunity to find a comprehensive offer, as the fair will be accompanied by other events: the Guangzhou International Leather Exhibition - GILE; The International Footwear Exhibition (IFLE) - Guangzhou; the Guangzhou International Tanning Technology and Machinery Exhibition - GITTME; and the International Trade Fair for Occupational Safety and Health Goods.
The previous edition was held in early September 2023, with the participation of 480 exhibiting companies, mostly local but also from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Italy, Germany, India, Vietnam, and Portugal.
In terms of visitors, there were 16,822 attendees, with a strong Chinese representation and, to a lesser extent, international presence.
American countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Honduras, Uruguay, the United States, and Canada also took part in the event.
