The new Brazilian trade fair will serve as a commercial networking point between companies (B2B), including manufacturing industries such as footwear and textiles, tanneries, components, chemicals, buckles, synthetic laminates, and machinery.
The first edition of TECNOMODA will take place from Wednesday 10th to Thursday 11th, April 2024, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., in the city of Ribeirão Preto in the state of São Paulo.
The decision for the location was based on considering the demand for an exhibition of this profile that encompasses the interior of Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Mato Grosso, Paraná, and Goiás, meeting the requirements of the established companies in those regions, as detailed by Ricardo Michaelsen, the creator of the fair.
This initiative already has the support of companies like GRUPO JBS, CIPATEX, CASA ROMEU, and LEATHER LABS, as well as industry representatives.
Specifically, the fair will be held at the Taiwan Centro de Eventos venue, where 86 modules will be set up in an area of 1,800 square meters. The booths will have a pre-established format to achieve harmony among the participating companies and thus highlight the exhibit offer of products and services.
Moreover, exhibitors related to heavy machinery will have the option to showcase videos on LED screens to present their proposals.
The event center will also dedicate an area for two meeting rooms, where meetings between exhibitors and potential clients can take place, as informed by IBTeC.
Professionals from the apparel, footwear, decoration, upholstery, furniture, and automotive sectors are expected to attend, and they will have access to scheduled talks during the two days of the event related to the digital world and technical knowledge.
"The objective of TECNOMODA is to bring the necessary technology for better production to the footwear, handbags, and furniture centers. Bringing information and demonstrations of new components that form the chain", stated Ricardo Michaelsen, who has a long history in the sector and has partnered with Ismael Zimmer, related to the leather and chemicals industry.
Michaelsen was the president of FENAC, which organizes FIMEC and the National Footwear Festival; he was part of the organizing committee of INSPIRAMAIS, the ABQTIC council, and the Brazilian Institute of Technology for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (IBTeC).
