In comparison with the figures from the previous September 2022 editions, the fashion fairs -MICAM for footwear, THE ONE for apparel, and HOMI for jewelry and fashion accessories- in this latest September 2023 edition, attracted 42,273 trade operators, a 21% increase.
The results were satisfying for the exhibitors, confirming a strong dynamism from foreign buyers, underscoring the importance in the sector's export recovery.
Final attendance data highlighted a significant presence of visitors from Spain, France, and Germany, while from outside Europe, there was a noticeable return of buyers from China, along with confirmations from Japan, the United States, and Canada.
There were 2,000 brands that showcased their collections, with a high level of creativity and innovation, and a strong focus on sustainability. The youth played a vital role in the sector's evolution, being protagonists through original products crafted with exclusive materials and technologies, showcased in special areas dedicated to new designs.
In the various knowledge-focused spaces, topics such as sustainability and artificial intelligence were addressed, given their relevance and application in the future of the sector's chain.
