With renewed expectations, EFICA and EXICAL begin in Argentina
Both events in Buenos Aires and Córdoba, inaugurate the sales of the Autumn-Winter 2020 season, with the hope of a change in the economy that will allow them to leave behind a very critical stage and start a new recovery period. Within this framework, confidence has been reborn in many industrialists, who are pending for new government measures in favor of a revival of the consumer market.
The 102 edition of EFICA takes place between Sunday 12, Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 January 2020, at the Costa Salguero Center of Buenos Aires. The International Exhibition of Argentine Footwear is organized by the Chamber of the Footwear Industry (CIC) and this time it presents the collections for the Fall/Winter 2020 season.
The offer includes shoes for women, men and children in all its lines, accompanied by exhibitors of manufactures and leather goods.
Within the exhibition as a whole, there will be a special area called “High Range”, where footwear with greater value of design and quality will be exhibited.
In EFICA, the main producers and footwear brands in the country are presented, mostly coming from Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Santa Fe.
Regarding the call, the visit of the most important buyers from different provinces is awaited, to which operators from countries of the region will be added, who were previously invited by the fair organization.On this occasion, EFICA will celebrate its edition with new authorities. As of the last Ordinary General Assembly, held last October, Fernando De Vito of CALZADOS FERLI is the new president of the institution, for the next two years. It will be accompanied by a renewed Board of Directors, in which some members of the previous remain, in order to capitalize on their experience in the sector.
Within the guidelines of the new management, De Vito bet for the generational replacement as a dynamizer axis of a new policy of the entity, aimed at greater catchment and integration of associates, in order to carry out promotional actions and defense of the sector, nationally and internationally.
In the services sector, the Chamber implemented its new website for EFICA: www.efica.org.ar where it is possible to access to information related to the event, participants, consultations, accreditations, etc.
Forja fairground will be the venue for the 39th edition of EXICAL, which will take place between Sunday 16, Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 February, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the first two days and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the last day.
In each edition of the exhibition around 200 exhibitors participate, including shoe and leather goods manufacturers, as well as distributors and suppliers. Its origins are also from Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Santa Fe.
Due to its central geographical location, the Cordoba fair stands out for having a diversified concurrence, where buyers from different provinces are present.
The exhibition will include footwear collections for Fall-Winter 2020, where the different lines for women, men and children will be represented.
The Exhibition of Footwear of the Center Region -EXICAL- is organized jointly between the Chamber of the Footwear Industry of Córdoba and the Chamber of the Footwear and Related Industries of Santa Fe.
