Critical situation of the commercial circuit
The Ministry of Production and Labor reported the regulation of Decree 865/2018 referring to the EXPORTA SIMPLE Platform, from which the collection of export duties is eliminated. However, until December 31st, 2020, the 12% tax on exports will apply.
For the footwear item, "it cannot exceed 3 pesos for each US dollar of the taxable value including the application of the 12% rate," as detailed by the Chamber of the Footwear Industry of Buenos Aires.
The finished footwear has a refund of 7.5%; uppers and non-leather soles and parts, 6.5%; and leather heels and soles, 5%.
