"Cuota Simple" replaces "Ahora 12" program
January 31st marked the deadline for the Ahora 12 program, aimed at purchasing national products and services with subsidized interest rates and fixed installments, covering sectors such as footwear and clothing, among others.
In this regard, the end of this initiative would signal the beginning of "Cuota Simple," a similar measure proposed by the new government under Javier Milei.
According to media reports, at the beginning of last January, the interest rate was yet to be set, which remained under negotiation between the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, the Executive branch, and the rest of the banking entities.
