First quarter 2022: positive rates continue for footwear and leather goods
The FOOTWEAR AND LEATHER GOODS sector showed positive variations during the first quarter of 2022. According to the SME Retail Sales Index, in January there was an increase of 32.5% year-on-year; while in February, growth was 45.7%; and in March it reached 29.8%.
In relation to the year 2020, the sector had an increase of 17% in January, 32.4% in February and 59.5% in March, according to CAME.
