Footwear and leather goods close 2019 with less production

The Industrial Monthly Survey of the Argentine Confederation of the Medium Enterprise (CAME) determined a 6% decrease in the production of SME industries in general. The figure corresponds to the twelve months of 2019 and comparatively with the year 2018, based on a nationwide survey of 300 small and medium-sized companies.

Punctually, the item FOOTWEAR AND LEATHER GOODS closed the year with a 10.6% drop in its production. The month with the most negative index was April, which registered -24.6%; while December had a positive variation of 4.4%, according to CAME.
