FOOTWEAR AND LEATHER GOODS: production decreases

A nationwide survey of 300 SME industries, determined that production had a decrease between January and May 2019 of 8.1%, compared to the same months last year. This was revealed by the Monthly Industrial Survey conducted by the Argentinean Confederation of Medium-sized Enterprises (CAME).

Specifically, the items FOOTWEAR and LEATHER GOODS showed a drop of 15.9%. The negative variations disaggregated month by month were -15.5% in January; -20% in February; -13.5% in March; -24.6% in April; and -6.1% in May, CAME reported.
