Footwear imports drops


Less presence of imported footwear in the Argentine market is significant.

The report made by IES Consultores determined that 7.6 million pairs of footwear were imported in the first four months of the year, 37.6% less compared to the same months of 2018. In parallel, the value registered a 41.4% drop. , referred to purchases valued at US $ 136 million. Textile footwear was the highest income, with a 38% share of the total under the value variable.
