Government provided explanations for the industry

Under the agreement reached between Mercosur and the European Union, the national government cited various industrial representatives. The meeting was held in Olivos on July 3rd and was attended by President Mauricio Macri and ministers.

Regarding the ootwear industry, the tariff elimination of up to 15 years agreed in the treaty was highlighted by Dante Sica - Minister of Production and Labor. For his part, Horacio Moschetto, representative of the Calzadista industry, said the importance of being able to examine the reference to the rules of origin and relief, when the details of the agreement are available, according to the FAICA statement issued by CIC.
