As of November 2022, imports of Brazilian footwear to the Argentine market were 15.1 million pairs, valued at US$ 168.7 million, according to data from SECEX of Brazil.
In this sense, ABICALÇADOS (Brazilian Footwear Industries Association) reported that the volume had an increase of 28.3% compared to the same eleven months of 2021, while the value grew by 67.2%. The average price per pair was positioned at US$ 11.15, with an increase of 30.3%.
For its part, the entry of hides and skins of Brazilian origin was 833,615 square meters, which translated into an increase of 21.1% compared to the same months of 2021.
The value of what was imported was US$ 10.6 million, a strong increase of 54.2%, according to figures provided by SECEX, prepared and disseminated by CICB (Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry).
