Investments in the footwear industry were confirmed
At the end of last October, the Economic and Social Agreement led to a meeting between Matías Kulfas -Minister of Productive Development-, State officials and members of entities from the footwear, clothing and textile sectors.
Industry leaders announced investments worth US $ 350 million. By 2020, the total will be US $ 100 million and by 2021, US $ 250 million, a figure higher than the previous 10 years.
Specifically, the Footwear Chamber of Buenos Aires was represented at the meeting by its president Fernando De Vito, while Walter Albornoz was present on the part of the Footwear Union, as reported from the Ministry of Productive Development.
