Members of the Industrial Organization of Argentina (UIA) held a meeting with Juan Pazo, Secretary of Planning and Management for Productive Development and Bioeconomy; Pablo Lavigne, Secretary of Commerce; and Marcos Ayerra, Secretary of Small and Medium Enterprises.
The UIA expressed their willingness to collaborate with the Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI) to attract capital, but in an equitable context with the Argentine industry, according to a statement from early July.
Regarding the SME law, the UIA's proposal to government representatives includes the creation of an industrial SME investment incentive regime that complements the RIGI, tax simplification, access to financing, automatic updates of classification parameters, simplification of the process of creating new businesses, and tools for their internationalization.
