More brands arrive in Chivilcoy
In addition to its usual BICONTINENTAR Footwear Technologies productions for the PENALTY, DIADORA, ATHIX, JOMA and OLYMPIKUS brands, the incorporation of new firms was announced last November: MONTAGNE, HUSH PUPPIES and RINGO, to which UNDER ARMOUR and NEW BALANCE will soon be added.
The president of the company -Juan Recce- affirmed that to meet the demand 9 production lines are needed, of which 6 are already working normally. The rest will be annexed in the coming months.
For the manufacture of 6,000 pairs per day, the company based in the Chivilcoy Industrial Park has 270 workers and the hiring of 50 more is expected. 90% of the current employees were part of the Paquetá factory.
