Other sources revealed a 13.1% drop in activity of footwear and leather goods SMEs

The Monthly Industrial Survey of the Argentine Confederation of Medium Enterprise (CAME) determined a 7.5% decrease in the production of SME industries in general in the first ten months of 2019 and comparatively with the same period of the year 2018. The survey was carried out nationwide, with a sampling of 300 SMEs.

Particularly, FOOTWEAR and LEATHER GOODS sectors decreased by 13.1% in the accumulated as of October. The highest negative index was recorded in April (-24.6%) and the lowest fall occurred in May (-6.1%), as reported from CAME.
