The production of the SME industry corresponding to the FOOTWEAR AND LEATHER GOODS sector registered a year-on-year increase of 28.4% in August 2021; while compared to the same month of 2019, the figure was negative by 20.5%, according to what was reported by the Argentine Confederation of Medium-sized Enterprises (CAME).
In September, the sector increased productive activity by 38.6% in relation to the same month of the previous year and had a decrease of 12.3% compared to September 2019, as reported in the SME Industrial Production Index.
For October, a rise of 16.3% year-on-year and a drop of 7.8% biannual was recorded. In the first ten months FOOTWEAR AND LEATHER GOODS grew 29.5% compared to January-October 2020 and fell 18.7% compared to 2019.
