The quarantine retracted the production of FOOTWEAR and LEATHER GOODS

Last March was marked for 19 days with complications in the production of industrial SMEs. The remaining 12 days followed at the end of the month, where companies had to stop the activity because of the quarantine.

In this sense, through the Monthly Industrial Survey, the Argentina Confederation of Medium Enterprises (CAME) reported that production fell 28.8% among Industrial SMEs in general in March, compared with the same period of 2019 .

In particular, the FOOTWEAR and LEATHER GOODS sectors had a 29.7% retraction in the month, as reported by CAME.
