Retail sales, with good results

The Argentine Confederation of Medium-sized Enterprises (CAME) reported that the FOOTWEAR AND LEATHER GOODS sector grew by 27.5% in retail sales in September 2021, compared to the same month last year.

Similarly, the SME Retail Sales Index determined that, at constant prices, the sector had a positive variation of 36.9% year-on-year in October.

In November, the increase was 17.5% and with a 28.3% rise in the first eleven months of the year, compared to the same period in 2020. Compared to 2019, the accumulated figure to November registered a fall of 19%.

Finally, sales for Mother's Day increased by 11.1% compared to the same celebration in 2020.
