The sector met with the government
At the beginning of October, the footwear table was call by Dante Sica -Minister of Production and Labor- among other representatives of the national government, while from the sector, participated leaders of the shoe chambers of Santa Fe and Buenos Aires, from suppliers (CAIPIC), Federation of Footwear Chambers (FAICA), Union of Workers of the Footwear Industry of the Argentine Republic (UTICRA), and Argentine Chamber of Security.
At the meeting, the topics addressed corresponded to issues inherent to the entire sector, to the production development and access to international markets. On this last point, the chambers cooperate in the International Insertion Plan of the Footwear Industry.
The commercial missions to Chile and Peru were analyzed, as well as the presence at the fairs -IFLS in Colombia and MICAM in Italy-, as reported from the web portal of the Ministry of Production and Labor.
