Between January and October 2020, the entry of Brazilian footwear reached a volume of 6.2 million pairs, 25.2% less compared to the same ten months of 2019. The total of imports was translated into US $ 60.1 million and a value average per pair of US $ 9.58, registering decreases of 32.2% and 9.4% respectively, according to SECEX figures.
On the other hand, exports of Argentine shoes to Brazil had a positive performance in terms of volume, which grew 97.7% (35,145 pairs). The falls corresponded to the value (-55.9% for US $ 196,939) and the average price per pair (-77.7% for US $ 5.60), reported from ABICALÇADOS.
