Footwear imports fall

According to data provided by the Bolivian Institute of Foreign Trade, purchases of footwear abroad decreased in the first half of 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.

To take into account, the figures provided take as a unit of measure the kilo and not the pair of footwear.

In that sense, in the first 6 months of 2019, 3,746 tons of footwear entered, which meant US $ 43 million. They were negative variations of 11% and 12% respectively, compared to 2018.
