Brazilian leather exports fall
As of November 2022, foreign sales of Brazilian hides and skins totaled 132.7 million square meters, thus reaching a value of US$ 1,135 million.
In relation to the same eleven months of 2021, the variations were negative by 16.8% and 12.2% respectively, according to data provided by SECEX, prepared and disseminated by CICB (Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry).
Compared to 2020, the volume of exports had a growth of 11.4%, while the business carried out increased by 62.1%.
