Digital business roundtables with Latin American clients


Internet e-commerce has been the valid alternative, given the suspension of live fairs.

Between August 24th and September 25th, various business roundtables were held in digital format. Brands such as Kildare, Suzana Santos, Vicenza and Klin -among 20 other footwear firms from Brazil- participated in them with buyers from Peru, Colombia and Chile.

The volume of contacts obtained was greater than 380, generating at the moment business for US $ 220 thousand and it is expected that in the future it could exceed US $ 960 thousand.

The initiative was promoted by BRAZILIAN FOOTWEAR, in a joint action between APEX-BRASIL and ABICALÇADOS.

In another order, for November 23 and December 4 the second version of this initiative is planned, with the participation of Petit Jolie, Vero Moc, Perlatto, Tnin, Floré and Macboot, with stakeholders from Ecuador, Colombia and Peru, they reported from ABICALÇADOS.
