Footwear imports fell in the first quarter

The entry of footwear to Brazil registered a volume of 6.7 million pairs and a value of US $ 75.3 million, corresponding to the first three months of 2021. According to figures provided by SECEX, this meant a decrease of 24.9% and 27,5% respectively, compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

A drop in the value of each pair was also determined, which was US $ 11.14 on average and suffered a retraction of 3.4%, reported ABICALÇADOS.
