Hides and skins: exports increased in value

​Foreign sales of Brazilian hides and skins had a 2% decrease in volume, with an export of 45.6 million square meters in the first quarter of 2021. In turn, businesses were 15.4% higher in relation to the same months of the previous year, totaling US $ 319.3 million, according to figures provided by SECEX, prepared and disseminated by CICB, the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry.
