Imported footwear entry grew
Footwear imported into Brazil had a volume of 23.5 million pairs between January and November 2022, worth US$ 332.9 million, according to data provided by SECEX.
Comparatively with the same months of the previous year, the quantity had an increase of 15.5%, while turnover grew by 24.6%. At the same time, and with respect to 2019, the variations were negative at 9.8% and 3.5% respectively, as reported by ABICALÇADOS.
The average value for the eleven months of 2022 was US$ 14.12, with increases of 7.9% compared to the same period of 2021, and 6.9% compared to 2019.
