Imports of finished footwear, parts and components fell
The entry of parts of footwear -referred to heels, soles, insoles, among others- reached US$ 16 million in the first half of the year, which meant a decrease of 44.3% compared to the same months of 2018. At its once, the average value was US$ 3.80, a decrease of 11%.
In turn, the volume of parts of imported footwear registered -37.4%, according to figures from the Secretary of Foreign Trade (SECEX) of the Ministry of Economy, Industry, Foreign Trade and Services (MDIC), and reported by ABICALÇADOS.
