Leather exports increased
In the first eight months of 2021, Brazil made foreign sales of hides and skins for a total of 119.8 million square meters and a value of US $ 922.1 million. Compared to the same period last year, there were growth of 13,8% and 54,8% respectively, according to data provided by SECEX, prepared and disseminated by CICB.
On the other hand, in the comparison with the same months of 2019, the volume of exports suffered a fall of 3%, while the value increased by 13,6%.
