Leather sector increases exports
In the first quarter of 2024, Brazil's exports of hides and skins reached 46.1 million square meters, with a total value of US$ 312.2 million, according to figures provided by SECEX.
Comparatively, with the same three months of the previous year, the volume grew by 17.6%, while the value recorded an increase of 12.3%, according to what was prepared and disseminated by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB).
