Slight growth of footwear exports in 2019

From Abicalçados they reported a 0.9% increase in the volume of footwear exported in the twelve months of 2019, totaling 114.5 million pairs. However, the value of the business decreased 0.9% in relation to 2018, with a turnover of US $ 967.1 million.

The figures provided by the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) of the Ministry of Economy, Industry, Foreign Trade and Services (MDIC) also determined a 1.9% retraction in the average value per pair.
