Chile as a target market for Brazilian footwear
For the period of 2024/2025, Chile has been selected as the target market for the Brazilian footwear industry through Brazilian Footwear.
35% of the products sold are made of leather, indicating high added value. Despite accounting for only 3.4% of exports, the Chilean market ranks as the fourth destination in Latin America, according to data from ABICALÇADOS Market Intelligence and details provided by their coordinator, Priscila Linck.
In 2022, 3.6 million pairs were shipped (+24.8%), generating business worth US$ 49.6 million (+52.5%), as reported by the organization.
