Decrease in leather imports from Brazil
Between January and March 2023, imported hides and skins from Brazil totaled 109,701 square meters, representing a decline of 48.8% compared to the same months of 2022, according to figures provided by SECEX.
Meanwhile, the value of the imports amounted to US$ 782,069, which marked a significant year-on-year decrease of 59.5%, according to information prepared and released by CICB.
