Drastic drop in retail sales

The footwear sector of the Metropolitan Region of Chile, suffered the impact on its retail sales due to the pandemic.

In the first five months of the year, FOOTWEAR fell 53.6%, which disaggregated was -10.2% in January; -7.2% in February; -59.4% in March; -83% in April and -92.1% in May, according to figures revealed by the Department of Studies of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Chile and disseminated by this entity.
