Retail sales, in decline

The Department of Studies of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism (CNC) reported that in the Metropolitan Region retail sales in general, had a negative variation of 2.7% referred to the first eight months of the year and in relation to same period of 2018, under the variable of equivalent stores.

Particularly for the FOOTWEAR item, the decrease was 8.6%, CNC reported.
