Sharp drop in retail sales
In the first nine months of 2020, the retail sales of FOOTWEAR in the Metropolitan Region of Chile, registered a decrease of 63.6% real and comparatively with the same period of 2019, according to data provided by the Department of Studies of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of the country (CNC).
Month by month, face-to-face sales had negative indicators in the item, of 10.2% in January; 7.2% in February; 59.4% in March; 83% in April; 91.8% in May; 92.3% in June; 90.4% in July; 71.1% in August; and 49.6% in September, reported CNC.
