For coronavirus, APLF could be postponed

The organizers of the fair in Hong Kong analyze contingency plans in the face of the spread of the virus.

In the statement of February 4, 2020, the event authorities reported that they are closely linked to the efforts of the Hong Kong Departments of Health, and of the World Health Organization -WHO-, to control and limit the spread of coronavirus.

According to the WHO announcement of January 30, 2020, which declares the outbreak of the virus as a global health emergency, APLF organizers said: “We are considering contingency plans, including possibly postponing APLF fairs at a later date within 2020”.

Later, they thanked "each and every one of the clients who have supported us, and we value greatly their patience and understanding."

Finally, they add that “we will be monitoring the situation very closely and will continue to report permanently. We hope to be in a position to announce new plans in mid-February.”

APLF, the exhibition specialized in hides and skins which originally has date from March 31 to April 2, 2020, will be carried out jointly with MATERIALS+, FASHION ACCESS and CASHMERE WORLD.
