GDP growth slowed in China
According to international financial sources, the economic growth of the Asian country slowed down to 6.2% at the end of June 2019, resulting in one of the greatest drops of the last decades. The forecasts for the second semester are that it can be reduced further, to 6 or 6.1%.
The main cause of this situation is attributed to the evolution of the commercial war with the United States, which decreases the entry of products due to higher tariffs. But above all, due to the absence of a stability framework that allows for a safe trade policy. For this reason, in China's economic media a gradual recovery of domestic demand is awaiting, which makes it possible to maintain activity and resume growth.
