Good performance of the footwear sector
The footwear and leather sectors analyzed in the Monthly Manufacturing Survey with a Territorial Approach (EMMET) had dissimilar results in the period from January to September 2022.
Footwear manufacturing had significant increases in terms of real production and sales, added to employment; while the leather and leather goods categories had both positive and negative indicators, as detailed by the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE).
