Indicators improved in the leather-footwear industry

​The National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) in its Monthly Manufacturing Survey with a Territorial Approach (EMMET), reported positive variations in real production and sales of the footwear, leather and leather goods industries.

Although employment in the footwear sector showed growth in the first nine months of 2021, the rest marked a setback compared to the same period in 2020.
