More data about the pandemic

Figures provided by the Colombian Association of Footwear, Leather and Leathergoods Industries (ACICAM) and reported by La República, showed a retraction of up to 40% in the commercialization and manufacture of leather, footwear and leather manufactures, corresponding to the accumulated to July of this year. In addition, the losses in these industries, as a consequence of the pandemic, reached 300 billion Colombian pesos.

For 2020, a 25% retraction is expected in the sector; while it is forecast that in 2021 there will be a 10% increase.
