Positive indices in the manufacturing industry

​The Monthly Manufacturing Survey with a Territorial Approach prepared by the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE), provided provisional data on the footwear, leather and leather goods sectors, which showed significant positive variations in real production and sales, in the period corresponding to the first semester of 2021 and comparatively with the same months of last year.

However, the three sectors did not perform favorably with respect to employment indicators.
